I have a 9 month old boar and my sow is in standing heat. He tries really hard but it seems that his penis only comes out about 6" and he cant extend any further. ??? First time having a boar what should I do? She has had 1 litter ((Not by him)) she is a little over a year old and not that much bigger than him.

then better to sell him if he will breed it on, dont wont the vet in every time you keep a pig back for breeding purpose.

Should I say that where there is a will there is a way, snigger, snigger.

If he is the same size he should be able to get in.
Try grabbing hold of his tail and pulling him up and then push your knee against his bum area. usually does the trick.:D
